Can we have a DJ or dance floor?
A DJ or amplified dance party is only permitted with a full buyout. For non-exclusive events, acoustic live entertainment may be available for the ceremony or cocktail hour when booked by Merriman’s.
What time is this option available?
This is an evening option, typically from 3 PM to sunset. All events must end by 10 PM, and the Private Oceanfront Tent curfew is 9:30 PM.
Can we have a ceremony directly on the beach?
No. Ceremonies are not held directly on the beach.
Can we change locations after booking?
Location changes are not available once booked, so ceremony and reception details should be confirmed carefully with the Merriman’s wedding team.
How far in advance should we plan a non-exclusive event?
Non-exclusive events require six months’ advance notice.
Is there a rain backup for the ceremony?
A rain backup is only available if a dinner location is booked. The Merriman’s wedding team can explain the available options during planning.
